WESTINGHOUSE DOORBELL INTERCOM
NO NEW WIRES INTERCOM SYSTEM!
Expand your Westinghouse intercom system with an additional doorbell intercom. This system supports up to three separate intercoms located throughout your house (one outdoor and two indoor stations, or two outdoor and one indoor station).
The outdoor intercom replaces your existing doorbell, and the inside intercoms (sold separately) simply plug into a regular power outlet and use your home’s existing power lines to communicate with each other. Whether in the kitchen, garage, or baby’s room, the Westinghouse Doorbell Intercom lets you answer your doorbell from wherever you happen to be.
- Two-way communications or one-way audio monitoring.
- Excellent sound clarity.
- Press CALL to page another room; press TALK to converse; press LOCK for continual monitoring.
- Up to 1,500 foot range.
NOTE: Westinghouse intercoms are "line carriers", which means they send an FM signal over your home’s electrical wiring. Most household electrical panels distribute two "legs" or "phases" of 120VAC power throughout the house. For successful communication between intercom units, you must plug them into AC outlets that are wired to the same "leg" or "phase" of electricity. If your intercoms are not communicating, try plugging the intercoms into different AC outlets. Typically, different AC outlets in the same room are on separate circuits and can be on either "leg" of the AC power.
