Turn your home's phone into a full door answering system ... with intelligence! When you're in, simply answer the doorbell from any phone when you hear the doorbell. Four station system for communication and control of gates and/or door strikes. This unit is designed for multiple entrances, such as front and back door, plus controls to allow access. This system can also provide some basic intercom features by placing speakers inside the home. This system has the A.E.S. feature and also uses the existing doorbell system as the annunciator. Comes in a plastic housing with power supply and RJ-31x jack.
Uses the SP-2000 series speakers. The system is designed to step down from 500 ohm to 8 up to 100 ohm at the speaker without any modification. Wire runs can extend up to 1 mile.
AES is an Automatic Entry Select feature. When the doorbell button is pressed, a 15 second window is activated. When a phone hand set is picked up within that window, the speaker at that button is automatically engaged to allow immediate communication. |
