The KPLD Keypad Controller with Load Control replaces an existing dimmer, like your front porch light; while the KPCD Desktop Controller will give you control from the comfort of your bed or couch. Changing the basic characteristics of the Keypad and Wall Switches are done with a few presses of the desktop keypad buttons: including default on levels and scene characteristics.
