PULSEWORX PLUG-IN PASSIVE PHASE COUPLER
ENHANCES COMMUNICATION RELIABILITY
The Passive Phase Coupler (PPC) is a small electronic device that is designed to enhance the communication reliability between devices that use the Universal Powerline Bus (UPB™) method of communication (such as PulseWorx™ devices). It couples UPB communication signals generated on one phase of the powerline onto the other phase of the powerline. The PPC is designed to be used in a typical residential 120/240VAC split-phase electrical environment.
The PPC-3 is designed to plug into any 3-socket 240V electrical outlet. The PPC-4 is designed to plug into any 4-socket 240V electrical outlet.
PULSEWORX LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM
The Passive Phase Coupler is designed to be an integral part of a complete PulseWorx Lighting Control System. Like all PulseWorx devices, the XPW713 uses the patented UPB™ powerline communication technology (invented by PCS) to reliably communicate with any other UPB-compatible device(s) over the existing house electrical wires. No new wires are necessary making PulseWorx perfect for retrofit situations. When initial configuration is complete, a single push of a button is all you need to activate any group of lights (or virtually anything else that connects to AC power wiring) throughout the house simultaneously.
