The Platinum Tools Telcom Electrician Scissors can be used to cut a variety of wire. They cut stranded wire to 12 AWG, solid wire to 16 AWG, and Kevlar in fiber optic cable. The scissors also strip 19 to 23 AWG wire, and the back blade's serrated edges help you clean wire and binding posts.
