The ACDP29SWIM functions as an Intercom Module if JP5 AND JP6 are set to "OFF" and as an Outbound Relay Trigger Controller if JP5 AND JP6 are set to "ON".
When set to function as an Intercom Module the ACDP29SWIM will enhance the existing DoorBell Fon system by converting all the phones in your home or office into an intercom system. No new wiring is required and no installation of intercoms is necessary throughout the house or office. Best of all No Programming is required. This Module will let you use your existing phones and existing wiring, no additional connections necessary.
When it's set to function as an Outbound Relay Trigger Controller, also known as the Door Strike Controller, it will enhance the existing DoorBell Fon system by providing dry contact closure off the star ( ) or other selected keys on the telephone keypad by using dip switch S1. This product is a great add-on component that will trigger the operation of electrical devices you may want to operate from your telephone by pressing ( ). When set to Outbound Relay Trigger this product can open multiple doors with lock controllers, though will only open the one you are connected to at a given time.
