The Wireless Control Pad uses Radio Frequency Technology, running in the 2.4 GHz spectrum. It uses the maximum output power allowable by world standards. However every home environment is unique, making it impossible to give a specified range. In situations where range may be limited you can purchase additional coordinators to act as repeaters (NVWCPR) or you can extend the CAT5 connection to the NuVo system by as much as 150 feet to create a more optimal placement for the coordinator.
The Wireless Control Pad System (NVWCPS) consists of (1) Wireless Control Pad, (1) Coordinator, (1) Charging dock & (1) Power Supply. It also includes a CAT5 cable to connect the Coordinator to the Allport or EZPort.
Up to 4 additional Control Pads can be added to the NuVo system. The additional Wireless Control Pads are sold as a separate sku (NVWCPK), and include the Wireless Control Pad, a docking station, and power supply.
This Control Pad System is compatible with Essentia E6G, Concerto I8G, and Renovia.
