SINGLE-POLE, DECORA GREEN LINE, 8 AMP
The Leviton HXS081TW features one-button programming through address capturing. This wall switch provides status reporting using standard X-10 protocol to notify capable two way controllers of manual status changes, and responds to Leviton's DHC controllers as well as any X10 compatible controllers from any other manufacturer rocker to Turn ON; bottom to Turn OFF.
DHC AND INTELLISENSE
DHC uses a communications protocol, similar to network protocols like TCP/IP, to communicate over your existing home AC power lines. DHC Controllers and Programmers send these commands, which are as simple as "Device A1: turn on," and DHC Receivers with the A1 address respond. Like a broadcast network, every command is sent through every wire in your home; an individual receiver will respond to a particular command if it's addressed to it. A DHC Receiver, which can be a switch, receptacle or plug-in module can cause lights to turn ON/OFF, DIM/BRIGHT or work together in a "lighting scene" as well as switch appliances ON/OFF.
Leviton DHC Receivers have been equipped with special Intellisense™ circuitry, a Leviton exclusive that provides DHC Receivers with outstanding noise immunity while maintaining superior sensitivity to command signals. Leviton's Intellisense™ is so effective at reducing noise interference and providing enhanced command signal performance and reliability that it was awarded a Home Automation Association Technology Award.
