HAI REMOTE INDOOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOTE TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR OMNISTAT Manage your energy consumption with this Remote Temperature Sensor. To be used with any Omnistat thermostat. It can be mounted in the conditioned space where temperature is being monitored and the controlling thermostat can be mounted elsewhere for protection from tampering or aesthetic reasons. This small unit (disc is 1.5 inches in diameter) can be flush mounted in the drywall and painted over to become almost invisible in a residential installation. The Remote Sensor must be mounted in the same location appropriate for a thermostat for best performance, such as inside walls, free of draft from vents, away from sunlight, and windows. Connect the HA23A002 using twisted pair, shielded cable from the Omnistat to the Remote Temperature Sensor location. For distances up to 100 feet, typical twisted pair, PVC-insulated, shielded cable may be used. For distances from 100-150 feet, twisted pair with polypropylene insulated conductors, shielded must be used. For distances from 150-250 feet, twisted pair with foam-polyethylene insulated conductors, shielded must be used. Wire runs must not exceed 250 feet. This sensor will work with any Omni family or Lumina family home control system. KEEP YOUR HOME COMFORTABLE AND SAVE MONEY You can keep your home comfortable while managing your energy bill using the HAI Omnistat line of programmable communicating thermostats and temperature sensors. Your HAI home control system can turn off lights, water heaters and pumps when the house is unoccupied. HAI offers temperature and humidity sensors that can be used for temperature based programming of events. The temperature can be used to activate programs for controlling temperatures in attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, or coolers. |
