GE SECURITY TOPAZ FOUR READER CONTROL PANEL WITH FOUR READERS INCLUDES EVERYTHING NEEDED TO EXPAND AN EXISTING TOPAZ SYSTEM Sold without software and cards, the GE Security Topaz Control Panel and Reader expansion kit makes it easy to add to your existing Topaz system. This kit adds a four reader control panel (ACURT) and four readers (TPZ-RPP2-60) to grow your Topaz system as the application demands and includes an enclosure, plug-in transformer, and backup batteries as well. Based on a true 32-bit platform, Topaz Control Panel contains 16MB of RAM with battery backup, allowing high-speed transactions and support for up to 10,000 cardholders, and includes up to four connections. Also on-board are all of the inputs and outputs necessary to support the operation of the access-controlled doors, including door position switch, request-to-exit device, and electric door release hardware. In addition, auxiliary inputs and outputs are provided for most application needs. The panel has on-board high speed LAN/WAN connections. It also connects through RS-485, RS-232, and dial-up for additional flexibility. The HID ProxPoint® proximity reader is so small and inconspicuous, you hardly know it's there. In addition to its small, attractive design, all of the reader electronics are potted making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. The clock-and-data magnetic stripe version reads all HID proximity cards and outputs the card data in a Track II format. No rewiring or pulling of new cable is necessary.
