The GE5709CW is a hand held acoustic glassbreak tester that digitally generates the sound of breaking glass. When used with select GE Security Shatter Series Glassbreak Detectors such as the GE5822AW ShatterPro II Glassbreak Sensor with Tamper Switch or the GENX488 GE Shatterpro Wireless Glassbreak Detector, the tester ensures the unit is installed within the specified range and is operating correctly. You can also select the glass type to simulate the sound of glass breaking in the protected area. The tester makes the actual sounds of plate glass, tempered glass, or laminated glass breaking. An LED indicator shows when the unit is operating. The GE5709CW makes installing glassbreak detectors fast and easy.
