Add USB charging ports to any single-gang 15 Amp duplex outlet in your home simply by replacing the traditional wallplate with the Data-Tronix USB Charging Wall Plate for AC Outlets (15A). Attached to the bottom of this wallplate is a USB charging extension with two 2.1A USB ports. As soon as you screw the wallplate onto the wall where your old wallplate used to be, this wallplate automatically makes an electrical connection with the outlet in order to power the USB ports — no wiring required! The USB ports don't need to plug into the outlets, so you'll always have your two outlets available, plus the two added USB ports.
