ADD ON TO THE DAKOTA ALERT 3000 SYSTEM
The Dakota Alert 3000 Wireless PIR Motion Sensor is an add-on (or replacement) PIR sensor for Dakota Alert motion detection systems. With a wireless range up to 3,000 feet and full compatibility with any of our 3000 Series transmitters or receivers, the sensor allows you to monitor many locations near or far.

The passive infrared detector can monitor an area up to 100 degrees wide. When motion is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the receiver (sold separately), which then alerts you with one of four tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, or Whistle). The sensor can also be set to either flash an LED or stay dark when a signal is sent.
With the sensor’s integral mask, the detection area can be narrowed down to 20 degrees or anywhere in between. The sensor’s swivel mount allows you to adjust detection right/left up to 80 degrees, and up/down up to 50 degrees. With three different sensitivity settings, the sensor can detect movement up to 12 feet, 25 feet or 40 feet away. The sensor is designed for indoor or light duty outdoor applications under an eave, awning or other protected location.
The sensor is powered by one 9 volt battery with a battery life of about 12 months under normal conditions. A low battery alert notifies you when it is time to replace the battery.
