The Dakota Alert MURS Wireless Motion Detection Kit with Handheld Radio includes one MURS Alert transmitter and one M538-HT handheld transceiver. MURS Alert provides real time monitoring of remote locations up to several miles away. This kit is ideal for people that are out and about, such as security guards, sales staff and outdoorsmen.

The MURS Alert transmitter allows you to monitor activity at remote locations. It uses passive infrared sensor technology to send alert signals to the MURS transceivers in order to notify you that someone has entered a monitored area. The transmitter can send 4 different alert messages to the transceiver. The alert signals are in spoken English and are easily selected at the transmitter so that separate zones can be monitored at the same time.
The handheld MURS transceiver receives alert signals from the transmitter. It can also be used for two way voice communications between other MURS transceivers. The transceiver has 5 channels and 38 sub channels to help you communicate with other users. It is powered by a 6 rechargeable AA batteries (included) that last for about 40 hours between charges.
