DAKOTA ALERT 2500 WIRELESS VEHICLE DETECTION KIT, RUBBER HOSE COMPATIBLE WITH DAKOTA ALERT 2500 SERIES PRODUCTS The Dakota Alert 2500 Wireless Vehicle Detection Kit with Rubber Hose is a driveway alarm kit that alerts you when a vehicle enters your driveway. The included hose lies across your driveway’s entrance and detects vehicles that cross over it. When a vehicle drives over the hose, a signal is sent to the receiver, which then alerts you by playing one of four different tones.

When the receiver is activated by the hose transmitter, one of four different tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, or Whistle) sounds for a few seconds. Up to 4 zones can be monitored with additional transmitters (sold separately). Each transmitter can be programmed so to sound a different tone at the receiver, indicating which transmitter was activated.
The transmitter is weatherproof with a rugged design for long-term outdoor use. It operates on one 9-volt battery. The receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet and can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall. It is equipped with four form "C" relays (one for each zone), and one 12-volt DC output terminal that activates for several seconds when a signal is received. The 12-volt DC terminal and relays can be set to activate for 1 second, 10 seconds, 60 seconds or 10 minutes. The tones will still sound for several seconds.
