Here is a device that is designed to be directly coupled to the listener via a chair or other solid object that then makes direct contact with the listener.

Convenient holes located on the four corners of the device provide the means for mounting. Connections to unit are made via large, gold-plated binding posts. These connectors are spring loaded to provide a good connection to the speaker wires. Two shakers can be wired together to increase the delivered power.
