The A&D Precision Health Scale has a large capacity of 200kg with a fine resolution of 100g. It features a low profile of 35mm to prevent unexpected tripping when patients step onto the scale. Its simple one button operation allows easy measurement without any confusion. Long battery life provides closer monitoring without loss of data caused by low batteries. Rugged construction means it can be placed anywhere in the home. This scale is designed for indoor use only.

A&D has also created a unique weight diary program for use with the Bluetooth Scale. It is designed to enhance usage of the UC-321 Precision Personal Scale. It accepts not only your weight data to show trend and BMI, but also your daily diet and activity in order to build a record of your eating habits. This program is available in pound (lb) (.exe) and kilogram (kg) (.exe). Download and installation instructions can be found under the specifications tab.

This item works as a stand-alone device to provide local readings and it broadcasts readings via Bluetooth. However, it requires a receiving application such as GrandCare Systems Trillium or Microsoft HealthVault if you wish transmitted data to be graphed and stored and sent off premises.

Weight Diary instructions for download and installation:

1. Click on the link to Download the lb or kg version of your choice.
2. Save the file to your desktop or a folder on your hard drive.
3. When the program has finished downloading, click on the Install button to begin the installation.
4. Click OK in the installation location dialog box.
5. Look for the folder called "Weight Diary" on your desktop or browse to it on your hard drive.
6. Close all other programs.
7. Double click on the Weight Diary Folder to open it.
8. Double click on setup.exe to begin the installation.
9. Click on the big square button with the computer image to start the installation.
10. Click Continue.
11. Browse to your Weight Diary in your programs folder.
12. To create a shortcut, right click on the Weight Diary program and copy the short cut to your desktop.
